Workshops to begin soon, here at Goats of Gaia Soap Co.

Two very different  3 hr workshops will be available, under the guidance of Bea Gardner, a qualified medical herbalist.

These workshops will take place at the farm shop.

Green Medicine - The Herbal First Aid Kit Workshop
           Healing herbs from Mother Earth can safely treat many of the minor accidents and incidents that happen to your family members. Instead of stocking up on expensive proprietary remedies, you can learn how to create your own at the Herbal First Aid Kit Workshop.
          Our hands on class will see you create a selection of healing preparations, such as salves, liniments, poultices, teas and gels. You will learn how to manufacture remedies that treat a range of ailments from insect bites and burns to cuts, joint pain and the common cold and best of all you will leave the farm with a bag of these remedies that YOU have made yourself!( Several of the herbal preparations made will be seasonally specific).
         Learn about what herbs are good for specific conditions, where they come from and discover the fascinating folklore and history of many of Nature’s healing botanicals as you are guided through the workshop by Bea. Detailed information sheets and instructions mean that you will be able to confidently recreate these remedies yourself again and again.
        A fantastic opportunity for anyone interested in herbs for health and their family’s well being.
